Life is always full of unexpected moments.
I have tried in my life to act justly love tenderly and walk humbly, however the ones I love the most often get the worst side of me, tired, grumpy, and lazy. My motor mouth is not always in control and I have said things that I did not mean.
Regrets and shame diminish me but I get back up on my feet and try again each new day.
Life has just dealt me a huge blow. So I know now, that my energies in 2006 are going to be in a few different areas than the past three years.
Gentle readers, if you are a praying person; pray for me that I will be honest with myself and become a better person.
thanks G_72

We are all only human, rearranging and reprioritizing ones life every now and then is a good thing. Best to you and Helen. :)

HI lu,
yup no problemo he is on the prayer list.
I am amazed how my heart, mind and spirit still have empathy for others.
I've been carried on eagles wings the past weeks and I am so glad I have the Lord.
Pray that Helen will find Him also ty. G_72 2-4
ouuu Graham you reminded me of one of my favoraite hymns :) Prayers all around and to Lulu and son too ~ candy
On Eagles Wings
by Michael Joncas
Refrain:
And he will lift you up on eagle's wings,
Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun,
And hold you in the palm of his hand.
Verse 1:
You who dwell in the shelter of the Lord,
Who abide in his shadow for life,
Say to the Lord: "My refuge,
My rock in whom I trust!"
Refrain
Verse 2:
The snare of the fowler will never capture you,
And famine will bring you no fear;
Under his wings your refuge,
His faithfulness your shield.
Refrain
Verse 3:
You need not fear the terror of the night,
Nor the arrow that flies by day;
Though thousands fall about you,
Near you it shall not come.
Refrain
Verse 4:
For to his angels he's given a command
To guard you in all of your ways;
Upon their hands they will bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
Refrain
Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shal mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
Thanks G72 and Candy.Yes I will keep Helen in my prayers also. glad your holding up ol'man! The Lord is awesome!

Didn't mean to depress you with a dirge. ;)Its just one of those beautiful sung songs that inspire me. But we are all in gods hands and you and LuLu have placed your trust well. :) ~ candy
that is NO dirge
the bad news is that I have had a letter from Helen's solicitor...
marriage is over, no chance of reconciliation. I am totally blown away by Helens ability to see into the future ;)
Ca Ira - there is hope.
Faith, and love will always endure. The Lords will be done.
Prayers and friends are my support....
PTL!

Sending healing thoughts and hopes that time can still change things for you and Helen.

I can't imagine what could have gone wrong that can't be fixed.
I'd pray but I don't do that.
May whatever happens teach you what Gods wants you to learn.
sandyd
thanks SandyD
time will tell if things can be undone or whether Hecate has struck forever and Hera has gone....
Friends both near and far like you have been so supportive
Prayer changes things, but God's plans may make no sense. Some old dude centuries back said "God is like a sheer steep mountain face on which we can find no foothold"
marriage is the same ;)

Keep it. NEVER let go! Cause HE wont. your in my prayers and thoughts all the time G72. Miss you!

Hey Grey! Of course yer in me prayers! Goes without saying, y'know! I'll put you in my mums book. (Our family have, over the last 10 years or so, written things into Gram's book, with encouraging results. This has continued since she died, Nov, 2003.) It seems to have a positive effect. It was my mum's (Gram)petition God book!) Sorry for rambling, heh. My thoughts are with you, Graham. God Bless you and yours.
With love
Mothy
Hey mothie!! :) :) :)
great to hear from you
have you still got my email address?
thanks for the prayers!
G_72 2/20
No, G, somehow I lost everything when the PC in Tom Price and my home one in Bunbury crashed within weeks of each other (sigh). I've been back home for a while now. I'm so sorry to hear of your troubles, Gray. Keep ya chin up, Matey. We both know God doesn't test us beyond our ability to cope. (Though it's hard to understand, whilst one's in the middle of it, hey) There has to be meaning for this, somewhere.
Kindest thoughts and prayers
Love
Mothy
Sorry, G, I just re-read my post. I didn't mean to be so presumptuous..........(cringe) Sorry mate, you've got enough to deal with. (Prayers and hugs)
well friends I am back home...
but no internet and no laughter my footsteps echo in the empty rooms and there is heaps of cleaning and tidying up and weeding in the garden
I have no internet at the moment, something seems to have been unplugged and does not want to reset the router...
So I'll be quiet for a while whilst I catch up on the housework...
email me upshallg@gmail.com and I will catch up those at work...
I'm glad to hear you are surrounded by the familiar once again. I still pray for the day you hear laughter gain. :) -- its coming.
love and huggs
Tina
Graham,
By accident I found your blog. I wondered why you were absent from the Agonist. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you on your troubles. You will be in my (albeit Anglican and not Catholic) prayers. You are a good man and will get through this.
Best,
Mark
Hi Mark!
prayer is prayer, God is non-denominational. Thanks for posting. It's good to know so many prayers are being said in this mess. G_72 02/24
How are you keeping today, G? Thinking and praying for ya! As always!
Regards
Mothy
